67th Belmont Christmas Parade; Note route and line-up changes

Well over 100 units, including marching bands, professional floats, decorated vehicles of all descriptions and a wide assortment of other entries will parade through downtown Belmont and along Catawba Street through the Chronicle District and River District to kick off the Christmas season.

PLEASE NOTE: The starting point for the parade has been changed. Previous parades have started at Central Avenue near the Presbyterian Church. The parade this year will start at Stowe Park, where McLeod Avenue and Myrtle Street intersect with South Main Street.

This change also requires major changes in line-up procedures for parade participants. Most units this year will line up on McLeod Avenue, entering from Keener Boulevard. Some units will receive special instructions to line up on South Main and Myrtle Streets. All registered parade units will be notified by email about where to line up for the parade.
