School Bond Referendum

Gaston County voters will have an opportunity to support students by providing new school facilities and making needed repairs and additions to existing buildings when a $250 million school bond proposal appears on the May 8 primary ballot. Also on the ballot will be a proposal for a quarter-cent sales tax increase to help pay for the school bonds.
At this Business Buzz breakfast, County School Superintendent Jeff Booker and County Manager Earl Mathers will speak on these issues.
