Cherub's Grand Re-opening After going more than a month without Cherubs Café chicken salad, customers of the Belmont restaurant eagerly returned last week to see the results of a major renovation and to reconnect with the Holy Angels residents who work there.
A grand re-opening celebration and Montcross Area Chamber “Network After Work” reception are planned for Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, from 5:30 until 7 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 6 o’clock.
A renovated dining room and kitchen will greet returning customers and newcomers. Expanded evening hours will keep the café open until 8 o’clock, and new menu items have been added, including a “Maria Melt” in tribute to the late Maria Morrow, who was the first resident at Holy Angels in the mid-1950s and lived and worked there until her death on Aug. 24, 2010.
Network After Work receptions are hosted by a Montcross Area Chamber member business or organization at least once each month to provide opportunities for business contacts. Refreshments will be served. There’s no charge to attend, and non-members interested in Holy Angels, Cherubs Café or the Chamber are welcome. Registration is requested at www.MontcrossAreaChamber.com.
