Rivermen Brewing will kick-off Grand Opening
with a Ribbon Cutting
The eagerly anticipated opening of Rivermen Brewing is here. A Chamber ribbon-cutting on the afternoon of Friday, December 1, will be the kick-off for a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, December 9, starting at noon and continuing until 11 p.m. Owner Pat Brennan is eager for Chamber members and friends and the public to experience his new brewery and farm-to-table restaurant.
Rivermen began as a brewery only in a former textile mill on the banks of the Catawba River in Belmont, where the water access allowed for the occasional afternoon row session or paddle. Success and the owner's desire to make a significant impact on the community led Rivermen to another beautiful old mill with undeniable character in Historic Downtown Belmont, a site that lends itself to outdoor festivals and to becoming a pedestrian destination.
Rivermen will feature 20 rotating taps with their core beers always available.
Core beers on tap include:
Precipitation Scottish Ale
Brennan's Irish Ale
Triple Drop IPA
Foundation Black IPA
Take Out American Pale Ale
Shuttle Bunny Honey Blonde
