Mr. Turner is NC licensed engineer and a senior engineer with Gavel & Dorn with over ten years of experience in a variety of land development, public utility, and roadway projects. His passion for engineering began after serving a tour in Iraq in 2003 with a U.S. Marine Corps engineer squadron. From there, Joe earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and began his career in the private sector.
Mr. Turner and his colleagues provide engineering services including hydraulic modeling for stormwater, water distribution, and sewer collection systems; residential, commercial, and industrial site plans; sewer flow monitoring and data analysis; GIS mapping and analysis; materials testing; construction inspection and administration.
